Maja Alexandra Nazaruk

Maja Alexandra Nazaruk, dottoranda, Université de Montréal, Dipartimento di Letterature Comparate

Biografia: Maja pratica la sua identità performativa con l’appoggio di studi interdisciplinari in scienze politiche, lettere e semiotica. I suoi scritti si occupano dell’antropologia di Bronislaw Malinowski, e sono apparsi in riviste come l’International Journal of Anthropology, Suomen Antropologi : Journal of the Finnish Anthropological Society, Anthropos Journal, Journal of the Anthropological Society of Oxford, Anthropological Notebooks, Dalhousie French Studies, Polish Philology, History and Literary Theory.

“Inspired by literary anthropologist Wolfgang Iser, Maja believes in the border crossing between reality, imagination and fiction. Nourishing the ideational departure into the experience of hyper-reality and staging language simulacra in its image, anthropology ‘provides the goods’ of social fact suggestibility: a fantasy world, justified on reasonable grounds. The pursuit of anthro fiction aims at living out ideational worlds to restructure the experience according to realist considerations, as if to hide the intuitively driven power of the as if.”
